The Aims of Waking-Up Magazine

The theme for the magazine is inner growth and exploring the human experience. We intend our pages to express this fundamental calling that lies inside each one of us. The aim is to live the stillness and silence that permeate everything, the underlying joy and beauty in which every moment is steeped.

We also want to be real about the challenges that arise in the path of everyone, spurring us on to know ourselves more deeply. At the same time, we don't want to take ourselves too seriously!

What Can I Contribute?

We'd love you to make use of the magazine by sharing your creative expression in its pages. We invite you to submit articles, experiences of the spiritual journey, interviews, book reviews, poetry, letters, humour, pictures, cartoons, graphics and music. We're interested in any expression of the divine in publishable form...

The Next Issue

A date for the next issue has not been settled yet, but it may be 1st April 2001.  This will give us time to set up computer equipment to produce the magazine more efficiently.

The publication deadline for the next issue is likely to be 1st February 2001.
